Maintaining the organic integrity of food products requires specialized, highly regulated pest control measures. Whether managing a certified organic facility or a commercial retail space handling organic goods, Versacor provides a dedicated, NOP-compliant organic protocol built around a strict tiered escalation process:
Preventative Foundation: Mechanical catch traps, glue boards, ILTs, and non-pesticidal monitors are deployed as standard practice without preventative chemical applications.
Exterior Safety Protocols: Strict exterior perimeter management ensuring zero potential for interior product or airborne contamination.
Initial Action (Non-Chemical First): Physical removal via vacuuming, mechanical trapping, and environmental modifications (adjusting humidity, airflow, lighting) serve as the primary line of defense.
First Escalation (Low Mammalian Toxicity): Organic-approved materials with low toxicity and minimal risk of product contamination (such as boric acid or targeted insect baits) are utilized only when non-chemical steps are insufficient.
