Stored Product Insects

The goal of the Stored Product Insect Program is to control these pests by working with the client to identify and eliminate infested product within a facility, as well as correcting any conditions that prove conducive to these insects. The primary means of identifying the presence of stored product insects is through the use of pheromone monitors. In facilities that house high-risk product, both hanging and floor-based pheromone monitors will be utilized in order to attract and capture flying and crawling SPI’s. The Versacor Service Specialist will monitor these traps and form an action plan on how to best handle infested product based on established pest thresholds.
